LearnWake - The future of wake instruction is now...
In 2004 The Book DVD series revolutionized instructional content for the wakeboarding industry. Never before had an wakeboard instructional DVD series been so vast and detailed. One testament to the series could be that it has been the best-selling wakeboard DVD each of the first 3 years of it's release. Another testament could be the fact that at least 4 different wakeboard DVD instructionals were released the 3 years prior to The Book's release, and none have been released in the 3 years following.
Fast forward to 2008... The guys that created The Book, have branched off and started a new project...LearnWake.com. The goal has always been to give the best instructional experience to wakeboards. Now with the internet evolving, the time has never been better for us to switch to the interactive web-medium from the DVD medium. Simply put, LearnWake will revolutionize wake instruction. Unlike DVD's, LearnWake is interactive. If you have a question, you can ask one of our professional coaches on our bulletin board, or live in one of our chat rooms. Other features of the website include pages of wakeboard instructional documentation called "The Library," high-definition videos, and games. Check out the feature list below for more details.
LearnWake is a premium subscription-based website. Members have to pay a fee to access the website's protected areas. Subscriptions are most commonly sold under two different options...monthly or annual.

27%How are we assuring the continued growth of LearnWake?
We are doing a lot to support LearnWake and help continue it's growth. First and foremost, we are continuosly updating the website. Every few days you'll notice updates to the instructional content, and little changes here and there. Of course quality is always a concern. We pride ourselves on all of our work and have set the bar really high. Our subscribers expect a certain quality, and we strive to give them no less than their expectations. Of course, updating the website and keeping the content quality is great, but how do we intend to bring in new customers? Here are a few strategies we are currently putting in use to expand our user-base...
- Affiliate Program - We've developed an affiliate program that allows industry media outlets and even our own subscribers refer people to our website for a commission. So far, the program has been working great, and since our customer satisfaction has been so high, people are really excited to tell their friends about LearnWake.
- Season Pass Gift Cards - We developed many relationships with distributors while selling DVD's in the past. We are utilizing these outlets to get our virtual product into physical stores.
- Camps and Training Facilities - We've set up almosy every major wakeboard camp or training facility with a LearnWake account. This works out great for camps, because their campers can gain access to the website for free while at the camp. Obviously this works out great for us to because it let's potential customers get our product in their hands.
- Advertising Campaigns - Advertising through print media and several forms of online advertising is a key element to growing our brand awareness.
