DailyWake is a wake-related news aggregate blogsite. The web has evolved, and users now expect two things from their news sites...
  1. People want all of their news in one location
  2. People want to share their opinions through an interactive experience
DailyWake publishes original news content and links to the top news stories from a variety of wake-related websites. Viewers can share their opinions by commenting on the stories, and participating in interactive features such as online polling and more. More Info >>

Who we are...

LearnWake LLC, the creators ofThe Wake Network, is made up of Mike McLin and Kyle Schmidt, the duo that co-created the best-selling wakeboard DVD of all time -The Book.

* The Book was created by Clermont Media Group LLC, a company that Mike and Kyle are partners in.

Where we've been...

After creatingThe Book DVD Serieswe realized the limitations of DVD/BluRay and the power of a website's interactive experience when it came to instructing. The wake industry was prime for a website likeLearnWakeso we started developing it and moved on from the DVD medium. Somewhere during the development of LearnWake, we thought about how cool it would be to have a website that was likeEngdaget, except for wakeboarding. All of the sudden,DailyWakewas born, and it became our first published website. We posted our first story August 3rd 2007. In May 2008 we finished the LearnWake website, and The Wake Network officially began

Where we're going...

We fully intend to be a fixture in the wakeboard, wakeskate, and wakesurf community. We plan to continue to support our existing websites and keep developing new sites and ideas to help bring the industry to a higher level.Check out some of the stuff we have planned.
